Laurinburg, NC- St. Andrews University Cross Country and Track Coach Bill Cason is very excited about the addition of Zack Castor from Menifee, California.

Zack has an excellent middle distance background and work ethic and will make an immediate impact in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in cross country and track.

Castor is a 2014 Graduate of Paloma Valley High School in Menifee, California.

In his junior season, Castor led his team to become the Sunbelt League Champions. Castor was also the individual league champion at the Sunbelt League Finals. He placed 1st at the Inland Empire Championships in the 3200. At the Irvine Distance Carnival he placed 1st in the 1600m. He placed 10th at the prestigious Mt. Sac Prelims with a time of 15:52. He ran a 4:23 in the 1600m at the Annual Adidas Meet of Champions. He was awarded Varsity Distance Runner of the year in track and cross country.
